Top Five Luxury Wedding Venues in Miami
As a wedding videographer based in Florida, I've had the privilege of capturing countless beautiful wedding ceremonies and receptions throughout Miami and its surrounding areas. Over the years, I've developed a deep appreciation for the diverse venues that make this region such a sought-after wedding destination.
In this blog, I want to share my insights on what I consider to be the top five wedding venues in Miami. These locations not only provide stunning backdrops for your special day but also offer unique features that translate beautifully to film. From historic landmarks to beachfront properties, these venues showcase the best that Miami has to offer for couples looking to create unforgettable wedding memories.
The Biltmore Hotel
When I first step onto the grounds of The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, I'm always struck by its breathtaking Mediterranean architecture. This National Historic Landmark is, in my professional opinion, one of the most photogenic wedding venues in all of South Florida.
The moment my camera captures the hand-painted frescos on barrel-vaulted ceilings, travertine floors, fine marble columns, and carved mahogany furnishings, I know I'm filming something truly special. And that spiraling Moorish Giralda Tower? It creates a distinctive silhouette that instantly elevates any wedding video.

From a videographer's standpoint, The Biltmore offers incredible lighting opportunities throughout the day and evening, allowing me to capture the changing ambiance as your wedding progresses from ceremony to reception.
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
If there's one venue that consistently takes my breath away, it's Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. This early 20th-century estate, built between 1914 and 1922, offers a cinematic quality that's hard to match anywhere else in Miami.
What makes Vizcaya such a dream to film is how it seamlessly blends traditional Mediterranean architectural elements with Florida's subtropical setting. The interplay of historic stone structures against lush greenery creates a romantic contrast that translates beautifully to video.
